Vezalez, a combination of Veni's first name and her mothers last name, Gonzalez, unexpectedly began in 2011. As a small business, Vezalez started off specializing in a wide variety of custom embellished shoes simply out of the desire to be daringly different. Whether you were having a night out on the town or making an appearance at a red carpet event, VZ provided all the glitz and glam you needed.
With many custom designs to choose from and prices starting at $250, Vezalez had the dazzling tailor-made shoes all of our customers were looking for at rates that fit any budget for women, children and men.
It was one day while at her design job flipping through the pages of a magazine, there was an amazing 3 page spread on Songstress Amerie.
Dressed in some of the most amazing heels that were hand embellished with crystals and bright gold spikes priced at $5000 a pair.
Ripping those pages out, Veni thought to herself "I cant afford that, but I can do that to my own shoes". At that moment she began scouring the internet for materials to custom embellish heels out of her own closet. Her first pair of heels were created October 2011 dressed in Clear crystals and silver pyramid studs covering the entire shoe, not to mention they weighed a ton. Wearing them out and about, she received tons of compliments and inquiries on where to buy and who they were made by. It was then she created a free website and started to soon create more. As she created the shoes, she would post pictures of the embellishment process to her social media pages such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Using materials such as spikes, Ostrich feathers, studs, chains and crystals, Vezalez even tapped into creating custom phone cases, hats and studded jeans based on a customers request.
Taking 7-10 days and over 9-12 hours of sitting time just to complete a pair of heels, Veni wanted to quickly transition from taking custom orders to a ready to wear manufactured footwear line .
She spent extensive amounts of time doing the appropriate research on footwear manufacturers, suppliers and textiles as she was new to this industry. Successful in her endeavors, she was able to source a manufacturing company in
Spain where she was able to build a partnering relationship with
and is now the manufacturer of Vezalez Shoes.
